Just got an e-mail regarding the WCSSAA tiebreaking procedure.
Looks as though my initial instincts regarding the tiebreaker were correct --- or at least, they are now, after the WCSSAA executive made a ruling this morning regarding record against common opponents, with the feeling that teams should be rewarded on record before points.
Obviously, this is the first time that such a scenario has occurred, so I'm sure a bunch of people were scratching their heads over it.
That means that the WCSSAA junior seeding for the tied teams is as follows:
(9) Forest Heights
(10) WODSS
(11) Eastwood
(12) Elmira
And your first-round junior games on Thursday:
(12) Elmira at (5) Preston - 3:30pm
(11) Eastwood at (6) Galt - 3:30pm
(10) WODSS at (7) Bluevale - 5:00pm
(9) Forest Hts. at (8) Cameron Hts. - 5:00pm
