In Senior Boys Action.....
The Walkerton DSS Raiders continued their strong play to start the year, with a 57-31 victory over Saugeen District. Walkerton's Mat West & Trevor Robinson combined to outscore the Royals by themselves (39 points). Reeon McNabb had 15 to pace Saugeen.
In other action, John Diefenbaker rolled past Chesley DHS 67-25, and Kincardine held off Walkerton's Sacred Heart 49-38. In that contest, Brady Risteen led KDSS with 14 points while Brock Mount put in 10 for Sacred Heart.
In Junior Boys Action......
Walkerton DSS doubled up on Saugeen DSS 50-25, thanks in part to solid full court pressure and 25 combined points from JD West & Colton Fischer. Ian McKay was tops on Saugeen's balanced scoresheet (9 players scoring) with 4.
Other junior scores saw John Diefenbaker crush the Chesley Cougars 64-22, while Sacred Heart beat Kincardine 41-21.
