No trouble on Monday night for my projected #1 AAA seed in junior, the Centre Dufferin Royals.
The Royals blasted Orangeville's Westside SS by 45 points, 70-25, to capture the District 4 crown. Doug Costanzo had 26 points in the win, while Marco Zanette added 10 and James Dyer 8.
For WSS, Riley Crean was their top scorer with 7 points.
Despite the win, Centre Dufferin hasn't yet qualified for CWOSSA --- they must first win over the D10's St. James of Guelph in a play-in game for the CWOSSA berth. CDDHS bested them in tournament play recently, so the Lions will be looking for revenge.
According to the information I have, that game goes tomorrow at St. James.
