Phoenix Get Win on Day One at Chancellor

The Resurrection Phoenix (AAAA #2) picked up a quality win on the first day of the Chancellor Tournament in Hamilton, defeating Oakville's Holy Trinity 62-60 at St. Thomas More HS.

The Trinity win goes down as Rez's biggest win on the season to this point.  Last week, the Oakville squad came within 7 points of Eastern Commerce.

The Phoenix actually led this one by 18 at one point, but staved off a furious Trinity rally in the second half to come away with the win.

Resurrection will play Bishop Tonnos (Hamilton Catholic) tomorrow in a championship quarterfinal.
