Despite not playing a "provincial level schedule", the Cameron Heights Golden Gaels are doing just fine at adjusting to life at the OFSAA "AAAA" championships in London.
One day after hanging right with #8 Eastern Commerce for the entire game (down 2 with 3:30 left), the Gaels have used a solid first half to take a 37-36 lead over the #3 seed, the Oakville Loyola Hawks (Heinbuch Champions) at Clarke Road Secondary School in London.
The Gaels led this one 30-17 after one quarter of play, so we'll see (er, hope) that they can hold off the Loyola surge in the second half.
