D10: Wednesday Result & Thursday Picks

One game to advise you about yesterday, which was played between Centre Wellington and ODSS.  As expected, the Falcons cruised to victory by a 54-18 final, backed by 23 points from Jaime Janssen and 15 from Erica McFadden.  Hailey Salvian added 8 more, while ODSS received 11 from Claire Fenton and 4 from Becca Matheson.  The Falcons move to 2-0, while ODSS dropped to 0-2.

On the junior side, the Falcons evened up their record at 1-1 with a 49-30 win over the Bears.  Kristen Gora (16) and Chloe Trapp (14) led the way; ODSS (0-2) received 8 from Madison Bratton and 7 from Rachel Adams.

Bishop Mac (0-1) at Lourdes (1-0), 12:30pm

This should be a great game between these two schools that fight it out for D10's "AA" CWOSSA berth.  I'll go with the home team here ---- mainly due to the start time of 12:30pm.  Expect a big student crowd for this one at Lourdes.

St. James (1-0) at Centennial (0-1), 4:00pm

The Lions should have enough weapons to take care of the CCVI Spartans, even on the road. 

JF Ross (1-0) at Guelph CVI (0-1), 4:00pm

The Royals will look to go 2-for-2 against a couple of their D10 rivals to start the season.  I'll give them the edge here on the road.
