Walkerton DSS Hosts Junior Tourney This Weekend

The Walkerton DSS Raiders are hosting an 8-team junior tournament at home this coming weekend.

Participating teams include:

Walkerton DSS

Rockway (Kitchener)

Kincardine DSS

Wellington Heights SS (Mount Forest)

Westside SS (Orangeville)

Peninsula Shores (Wiarton)

St. Anne's CSS (Clinton)

South Huron DHS (Exeter)

Based upon early returns, the favourites might be Wellington Heights, who have gotten off to a 3-0 start in D4 play.  They've been backed by the strong play of Nicole Bauman, who is averaging around 20 PPG in those games.

The participation of Rockway, Peninsula Shores and Walkerton (all "A" schools) will definitely help with the rankings in that division!
