CWOSSA "AAAA" Starts With Two One Point Thrillers!

The Resurrection Phoenix juniors got a three-point buzzer-beating effort from Sarah Schulz as they knocked off Centre Wellington 30-29 in their opening game of the CWOSSA tournament.  This forces CWDHS into a must-win game against WCI at 2pm.

If the Falcons lose, Rez and WCI will advance to the next round.  However, since CW only lost their opener by one point, a win in their second game would essentially ensure they move on to the next round.

A similar situation is unfolding in the senior "B" pool, where Eastwood lost a heartbreaker 43-42 to St. John's.  Next up for ECI is Centre Wellington in a 3:30pm tilt.
