Alumni Update: One Step Closer to Another Alum in the Tourney

We're one step closer to another year of a CWOSSA alum participating in the NCAA tourney.

As expected, the Bucknell Bison (#1 seed) and the Lehigh Mountain Hawks (#2 seed) were easy winners in the Patriot League Tournament quarterfinals last night.

Bucknell breezed past (#8 seed) Navy 87-63, while Lehigh defeated (#7 seed) Colgate 70-57.

Bucknell's Bryson Johnson, a junior, hit for 15 points on 5-of-8 shooting, including 5-for-7 from beyond the arc.  He also added an assist and a steal in 20 minutes of action.

Freshman Stefan Cvkralj saw one minute of action in Lehigh's win.

You can actually see both Lehigh and Bucknell in action this Saturday on your TV.  Lehigh's semifinal against (#3) American is at 2pm, while Bucknell plays at 4:30pm against #5 Lafayette.  Both games will be on the CBS College Sports Network (Channel 416 on Rogers).
