Two teams that have been ranked in my "CWOSSA top 10" for the majority of the season did battle yesterday afternoon at St. Benedict CSS in Cambridge, with the host Saints defeating JF Ross by a 52-36 final. The Saints, who are now 16-1 overall on the season, jumped out to a 17-4 first quarter lead before the Royals trimmed the halftime deficit to 10. Another big run in the third quarter (23-6) essentially put the game out of reach. SBCSS was led by Vicken Geokjian (12) and Justin Malnerich (9). Jake Grant notched 10 and Daniel Street added 9 for JF Ross.
