Play in the Bluewater Athletic Association also opened on Monday, in the South Division (which plays games Mondays & Wednesdays). The BAA's North Division sees play get under way today.In senior action last night, John Diefenbaker SS got past Walkerton by a 35-21 count. The other game was decided in overtime, with Kincardine DSS nipping Saugeen by a 30-28 final.
The junior league saw Sacred Heart defeat Chesley 20-8, while Kincardine bested Saugeen 28-8.
In the latter contest, Amber Howard notched 8 points for Kincardine while Mallory Earnshaw had 6 for the Royals.
