Three CWOSSA alums were recognized in the annual OUA West Women's Basketball Awards, which were made public yesterday.
Erica McFadden (Guelph via Centre Wellington '12) and Kaitlyn Schenck (Laurier via St. Mary's '12) were both named to the OUA West All-Rookie team.
Schenck averaged 7.4 PPG and 1.5 RPG during league play for the Hawks, while McFadden notched 11.9 PPG, 3.4 RPG and 1.9 APG during her 21 OUA games as a Gryphon.
Meanwhile, Kayla Santilli, who was a member of the All-Rookie team a season ago, was named as a Second Team OUA West All-Star. Santilli had 12.6 PPG, 4.2 RPG, and 2.1 APG in 21 league appearances this season.
Lastly, Hailey Milligan (Assumption '09), a 4th year forward for McMaster University, was a first-team all-star selection after her breakout season for the Marauders where she averaged a double-double (16.3 PPG and 11.5 RPG). Her 11.5 RPG were tops in not only the OUA, but also the CIS.
