Resurrection Seniors Take CCVI TitleAt the one-day tournament hosted by Guelph Centennial on Friday, the Resurrection senior girls took home the title with a couple of impressive victories.
The Phoenix knocked off St. Marcellinus (Mississauga), 47-13, in their opener before defeating host Centennial 58-27 in the championship final.
Resurrection resumes league play this week by completing the tour of the D8's "A" teams, Rockway and Woodland. They defeated PRDG in their opener.
D4 Tips Off Today
District 4 basketball tips off this afternoon with one doubleheader, and another Senior Girls' game.
The doubleheader sees the Junior and Senior teams from Emmanuel Christian travelling to Erin DHS, while Wellington Heights hosts Westside in the other senior game today.
