So much for "rebuilding".Defending D10 senior champion Bishop Macdonell has bolted out of the starting gate, picking up two wins on opening week over "AAAA" Guelph schools.
The latter came on Thursday afternoon on the road at JF Ross, where the Celtics defeated the Royals by a 40-28 final.
Rebecca Morris (12) and Jess Morris (8) led the way for Bishop Mac, while Maddy Darling had a game-high 14 for the Royals.
(For the record, I had picked Bishop Mac by 13 in that one --- a little more help next time, please!).
