cwossabasketball.com's "Players of The Week"

Based on Friday November 26th - Thursday, December 2nd.

Senior Boys

NEM SIMIC - CAMERON HEIGHTS
Simic got off to a great start for the week last Friday by pouring in 47 points in a 95-38 demolition of St. Thomas Aquinas at the CHCI tournament.  He would later help guide the short-handed Gaels to the tournament championship over Guelph Centennial.

Over the past couple of days, this grade 11 rookie guard has been a key reason as to why CHCI is off to a 2-0 start in league play --- he poured in 24 points last night against a tough Southwood squad.

Junior Boys

SEAN DAVIDSON - GLENVIEW PARK
The GPSS Panthers are off to their best start in some time, and Davidson is a big reason why.

He averaged 23.5 PPG during GPSS' two league games this past week, scoring 24 in a huge win over Grand River and following that up yesterday with a 23 point outing against another "upper echelon" squad, the SJAM Highlanders.

With their big wins, Glenview Park has opened the year ranked #1 among "AAA" junior schools.

  3. @anon one (comment deleted) - I didn't say Nem was THE key reason, I said he was A key reason as to why they beat Southwood.

As we're all aware, it takes more than one player to win games.
