A couple of WCSSAA schools are hosting tournaments this weekend, as Senior Girls' play quickly ramps up in advance of regular-season schedules starting next week.Over at Eastwood in Kitchener, the Rebels will be hosting their annual early season tournament, with many familiar teams in attendance.
The first round this Friday (September 13th) features:
2:30pm - Southwood (Cambridge) vs. Eastwood
4:00pm - SJAM (Waterloo) vs. St. Mary's (Kitchener)
5:30pm - Huron Heights (Kit.) vs. St. Benedict (Cambridge)
7:00pm - Ancaster vs. St. Teresa (Midland)
Play continues on Saturday, with the championship final scheduled for 7:00pm.
Meanwhile, the Waterloo-Oxford Crusaders, who I project will be among the top teams in CWOSSA, are also hosting a home tournament that also features a strong CWOSSA contingent.
