D8: Monday Results

Senior
St. David 36, Monsignor Doyle 21
My Pick:  No Pick
A big game as far as "AAA" CWOSSA is concerned, and the Celts took it by 15 at home.  Maria Valencia had 12 to lead the Celts, while Heather Sandall added 8.  Yasmeen Smith put home 10 points for Doyle.

St. Benedict 43, Woodland 31
My Pick:  SBCSS by 24
The Cavs hung around in Cambridge, but the Saints stayed undefeated on the season.  Julia Mascarenhas (12) and Amber Baetsen (10) were double-digit scorers for St. Benedict, while Kirstin Hofstee had a game-high 16 for WCHS.

Resurrection 19, St. Mary's 8
My Pick:  RCSS by 22
No....that's not a typo.  The Phoenix struggled mightily against the Eagle zone, and star guard CC McGlynn was unable to get untracked offensively.  As such, leading Rez scorers were Shannon Walls (4) and Rachel Engel (3).  Brittany Gulic had a game-high 5 for Mary's.

The Saints handled the Cavs at home, with Makayla Cabral contributing 9 points and Tereza Borges adding 6.  Jasmine DeWeerd had 4 for Woodland.
