Junior

Resurrection 66, St. David 34
The Phoenix opened up a 41-13 halftime lead and cruised home to victory in the second half, backed by 17 points from guard Adam Schneider and 12 from reserve guard Thomas Hunter.  Kevin Heeralall led the Celtics with 9.

D8 Junior Standings
1.  St. Mary's 5-0
2.  Resurrection 4-1
3.  St. Benedict 2-3
4.  St. David 1-4
---
5.  Rockway 0-4

Senior

St. Mary's over PRDG
My Pick:  SMHS
No score was reported, but I think it's probably a safe bet to say that the only way SMHS didn't win on Monday is if the game was postponed.  We'll go with this for now.

Rockway 62, Monsingor Doyle 22
Pick:  RMC
Josh Klassen led the Flames with 12 as they put down an emphatic win over MDCSS.  Manny Singh had 4 for the Mustangs.

Resurrection 73, St. David 41
Pick:  RCSS
What tournament hangover?  The Phoenix started the game on a 14-2 run and never looked back, opening up a 44-20 halftime edge and a 64-27 lead entering the 4th quarter.  Andrew Mwangi made his return to action for the Phoenix on Monday --- though he didn't start, he did score 7 points in limited minutes.  Tyler Schneider led Resurrection with 12, while Jeff Rodrigues, Jason Chris and Mike Pereira had 8 each.  Pereira and Cam Gibbs both had solid breakaway dunks in the first half for the Phoenix.  Dan Hummel did what he could in a losing effort, pouring in a game-high 22 for SDCSS.

D8 Senior Standings
1.  Resurrection 7-0
2.  St. Mary's 7-1
3.  St. David 5-3
4.  Rockway 4-4
5.  St. Benedict 3-4
6.  PRDG 1-7
