The Floor Is Yours....

Believe it or not, we're now closer to the start of the boys' high school season than we are from the end of the 09-10 campaign.  As well, the girls' CWOSSA season is now less than 2 months away (from opening practices, anyways).

That being said, I think I'll take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support and readership over the initial "year" here on the site.  Over the next bit, we'll naturally have to start making some changes to transition into the 2010-11 year (e.g., archiving the "20+ club").

Meanwhile, during these "slower" days of summer, I'm going to take the opportunity to write a couple of "opinion" pieces over the next little bit.

Please use the comments section here for any suggestions on possible topics, or any other news that you'd like to share with regards to CWOSSA basketball (eg. recruiting news, etc.).  I have a couple things in mind, but feedback is always appreciated!

Hope everyone is having an enjoyable summer!

I think an article on which CWOSSA junior boys from this past season will have the most impact on their senior teams next year would be interesting to read. Some names to maybe consider:

    Javon Masters, Forest Heights
    Sean Samuel, Huron Heights
Mitchell Wood, Bishop Mac (if he plays senior next year)
Carlo & Marco Zanette, Centre Dufferin
    Filip Cvrkalj, Grand River
    Michael Friesen, John F. Ross
    Jason Quiring, Jacob Hespeler
    Theshawn Berry, SJAM

Just a thought, it's the kind of article that would get people talking about next season.

It's going to be a sweet season to watch with Carlo and Marco Zanette moving up to the senior level at Centre Dufferin. Between their height, agililty and strong drive they'll be leading in the stats long before the season finals. It's no wonder those twins are called the dynamic duo!
