High-flying JF Ross 5th year forward Ryan Cook will be suiting up for the Humber College Hawks this coming school year, joining several other CWOSSA players on the roster of a team that is rich in history; the Hawks are currently the two-time defending OCAA champions in men's basketball.
Cook's scoring ability and veteran leadership were key in helping the JF Ross Royals to their first AAAA OFSAA appearance in school history (Ross had previously participated at AAA when that was the highest level of competition). He also had some highlight-reel dunks, and even a few impressive near-misses that still had spectators' jaws dropping.
He joins a Humber College squad that featured 3 CWOSSA players on its roster from this past season --- Darnell Garrick (Forest Heights); big man Milan Tosic (Eastwood); and Mac James (Guelph CVI).
