It's a slow week this week (good luck on your exams, to those writing!).....which will likely give me a bit of an opportunity to catch up on a few things, such as the 1.5 months of 20+ scorers and the like.One of the things that I'd like to do is to create a "historical tracker" documenting CWOSSA alumni over the years and where they played.
Once this is up and going, it can be expanded (i.e. awards, recognition, etc.).
I was at a tournament recently and overheard some players asking about a couple of guys that played for the school that were (in my opinion) well known "CWOSSA alums". So, I figure this is a starting point of putting this all together.
What I'll start with here is CWOSSA alumns that have been on a postsecondary roster from 2000-15 inclusive. CISHoops.ca has a great historical portion that will help to identify a large number of CWOSSA alums that suited up at Canadian Universities.
Remembering those alums who played OCAA (or CCAA), NCAA (D1/D2/D3), NAIA, or Junior College will be a bit more challenging. I'll start this list and continually update it over the next few days.
