The draw for the 33rd annual Heinbuch Classic draw has been released!
The draw features 7 CWOSSA teams, including Eastwood, Resurrection, Cameron Heights, St. Benedict, North Park, WCI, and SJAM.
Among the notable out-of-town teams are perennial powerhouse Oakwood, Hamilton MacNab, Cardinal Newman from Stoney Creek, and Brampton St. Roch (who have been quietly ascending the Peel basketball scene since the school's founding about 7 years ago).
Here's the first-round games, which will all be played at Conestoga College in Kitchener (Nov. 25 & 26):
8:45am - Eastwood vs. Resurrection
10:15am - Cardinal Newman vs. SJAM
11:45am - Cameron Heights vs. Oakwood
1:30pm - J. Clarke Richardson (Ajax) vs. Collingwood
9:00 am - St. Benedict vs. North Park
10:30am - WCI vs. St. Thomas More (Hamilton)
Noon - St. Roch vs. Sarnia Northern
1:45pm - MacNab vs. Adam Scott (Peterborough)
Second round games go Friday afternoon and evening, while third (and fourth) round games go Saturday. Saturday's championship round will see the title game contested at 8:15pm.
