YTD: 23-3 (.885)A big game on Wednesday afternoon in D10 senior saw the Bishop Mac Celtics get past the Centennial Spartans by a 41-37 count.
Rebecca Morris (11) and Tianna Sullivan (7) topped the Celtic scoresheet, while Emma Cain had a game-high 13 for CCVI with Emma Korol and Halle Milne chipping in 8 each.
That leaves three games on today's schedule, which all appear to be pretty convincing wins on paper, right?
Maybe.....but maybe not.
I'll start by taking JF Ross by 27 (over Orangeville) and Lourdes by 29 (over CWDHS) in those two contests.
The St. James-GCVI, which I expected to be the closest one of the day (STJ won by 16 the last time those teams played), could be more interesting than initially expected.
A student-council field trip and injury issues mean that the CWOSSA #2-ranked Lions may be down 4-5 players for tonight's contest.
I'll take the Lions by 7 with an asterisk attached.
