Bluevale gave it a great shot, but came up on the short end of a 51-46 loss to Ajax Pickering HS in the quarterfinals of the Forest City Tournament in London.
The game was back and forth throughout, and Bluevale led by 6 points with 3:00 to go.
However, the Trojans remained poised and pulled through down the stretch --- and made their free throws once they had the lead to extend at the end.
As per the most recent ranking on thehoop-la.com website, Pickering was ranked the #2 team (all levels) in the province.
Bluevale will play a "friendly" game tomorrow to conclude their tournament.
