D4: Wednesday Results

A quick rundown as I didn't get to it yesterday:

Junior

Centre Dufferin 30, Norwell 22
Backed by 18 from Silas Sales, the Royals moved to 6-0 with a slim win over 2nd place Norwell (4-2).

Westside 37, Wellington Hts. 34
Close game here, though the Thunder were able to take it in the race for 3rd place in the D4 standings.  Blayke Ferguson had 14 and Nathan Fraser 11 for WSS; Wellington Heights was led by Josh Feletto with 10 and Noah MacDougall Cook (8).

Senior

Westside 30, Wellington Hts 22
Low-scoring senior game, but WSS pulls out the "W" to help secure their grip on possibly hosting a playoff game.  Riley Crean (WSS) was the lone player in double-figures with 10; Travis Knight added 5 for the Thunder while Luke Hogg and Kurtis Trommelen had 7 each for WHSS.

Centre Dufferin 65, Norwell 31
CDDHS stays perfect as expected; Dhruv Patel led all scorers with 18 while Marco Zanette chipped in 11 in limited minutes for the Royals.  Eric MacDonald (10) and Drew Cowan (8) were the top Norwell scorers.
