As I had mentioned below, there was one game on the schedule last night in D8 as the St. Mary's Eagles travelled to Cambridge to play the Monsignor Doyle Mustangs in a game that was rescheduled from earlier in the year.
The first-place Eagles, who are winning their games by an average of 45 points per contest in league play, again had limited difficulty with their opposition as they cruised to a 68-33 win. Jeremy Cresswell (11) and Jermaine Lyle (9) led the way for SMHS (7-0), while Tyler Saris and Jamal Bell notched double-digit efforts for MDCSS (2-5) with 10 each.
Both teams are back in action on Wednesday at 3:30pm, with Monsignor Doyle travelling to Woodland and the Eagles hosting Rockway.
