2014 Mike Moser Award winner (WCSSAA MVP) Chuder Teny (Grand River '14) has announced that he will be staying local and attending Wilfrid Laurier University, while suiting up as a member of the Golden Hawks.

It's the second straight year that the Hawks have picked up a blue-chip local recruit, having inked 6'8" Galt graduate Jack Simmons last year. Simmons averaged double-figure scoring on the year, and was named to the OUA West Rookie All-Star team.
