Senior Girls: KCI Raiders Nip JHSS Hawks in OT for Tourney Title

In the championship final of the Jacob Hespeler Senior Girls' Tournament this past weekend, the KCI Raiders were not gracious to their hosts as they nipped the Jacob Hespeler Hawks by 3 points in OT to take home the tournament title.

The win capped an impressive weekend for the Raiders, who had two big wins in their first two games to advance to the final --- a 40-13 win over Kincardine DSS, and a solid 51-22 showing over Cambridge St. Benedict.

KCI, Jacob Hespeler, and Bluevale (who Hespeler knocked off by 6 in the semifinals) look as though they are the teams to beat for WCSSAA's 3 CWOSSA "AAA" berths (WCSSAA now gets 3 reps at AAA effective this season, in case you were curious).
