WCSSAA: Tuesday Picks

YTD:  17-3 (.850)

A couple of interesting and competitive games on the schedule, so we'll start with those:

KCI (0-2) at Southwood (2-1)
My Pick:  KCI by 9
Have to throw the records out the window, as KCI has losses to two of the top teams in the league (WCI & Bluevale) to this point.  I think the Raiders should be able to break their losing streak today at the expense of the Southwood Sabres.

Bluevale (3-0) at Jacob Hespeler (3-0)
My Pick:  JHSS by 4
Undoubtedly the game of the day here, between two of the remaining 4 WCSSAA unbeatens.  I expect a similar close game to their tournament match-up earlier this month, with homecourt edge aiding the Hawks in a tight one.

Huron Heights (0-3) at Forest Heights (0-2)
My Pick:  HHSS by 8
The Huron Heights Huskies have a bit more firepower on the offensive end, and I think they should be able to sneak past the Forest Heights Trojans on the road here today.

WCI (2-1) at WODSS (0-2)
My Pick:  WCI by 41
Assuming W-O's basket/net issue has been fixed since Thursday, look for the WCI Vikings to win big here.

Preston (0-2) at Cameron Heights (3-0)
My Pick:  CHCI by 33
The Cameron Heights Golden Gaels will stay perfect on the season --- and on their shiny new gym floor --- today against Preston.

Elmira (2-1) at Grand River (2-0)
My Pick:  GRCI by 19
The Lancers could end up being my darkhorse team by the end of the season, but the Rens will be too much for Elmira at this point.

SJAM (2-1) at Eastwood (1-2)
My Pick:  SJAM by 14
Big game in the standings for both these teams, but the edge on paper appears to go to the SJAM Highlanders.
