CWOSSA Exhibition: Senior Boys

A few results to pass along from exhibition play around CWOSSA yesterday:

The Bluevale Knights got off to a solid start by demolishing the SJAM Highlanders 62-22, with four Knights scoring in double figures.  Though youthful, the Knights have a solid core of juniors moving up and they should still be competitive in WCSSAA play this season.

Meanwhile, one of the early WCSSAA favourites, the Forest Heights Trojans, defeated Jacob Hespeler 63-51.  Forest Heights will take on Oakville Loyola in the Heinbuch Tournament on Thursday (6:15pm, St. Mary's).

The St. Mary's Eagles had no trouble with the Eastwood Rebels, knocking them off by, as my contact says, "about 30".

Resurrection defeated Cameron Heights in a high-scoring affair, 79-63.  Vedran Dmitrovic (CHCI) led all scorers with 18, while Tyler Schneider paced four Phoenix in double-figures with 17.

It was actually a "three team round-robin" ---- Cameron then went on to defeat St. James, while Resurrection defeated St. James by 30+.

Today, London's HB Beal will travel to Guelph to battle Centennial, while an all-CWOSSA match-up between St. Mary's and SJAM will also be on the calendar.
