An interesting 12:30pm start time today over at Our Lady of Lourdes, with the Spartans making the 5 minute trek down Edinburgh Rd. to battle the Crusaders.  If you're around Guelph and looking for some noon-hour hoops, head on over for what should shape up to be a good game between these two clubs.  That said, Lourdes is the better of these two clubs at this juncture of the season, so I'll tab them for the home win.

"Upset Special" Pick:  CWDHS

This is a tougher pick than the records would indicate.  CWDHS' 2 losses have come to (arguably) 2 of the top 3 teams in the league --- Bishop Mac and Lourdes.  Furthermore, those two losses have been by a COMBINED 4 points.  They always seem to pose some problems for the Royals, and I think that trend may continue today.  Look for Jaime Janssen to exploit her size advantage and go for double digits en route to what should be a tight road win for the Falcons in what appears to be a coin-flip on paper.

Pick:  GCVI

Though the Bears are looking improved thus far in the season, it still isn't quite enough to take out GCVI on the road.
