D10 Selections: Tuesday & Wednesday Games

Today's games (and one tomorrow between GCVI/CCVI) mark the end of the D10 regular season.

Given the fact that a lot of teams have already "clinched" their playoff positioning, I have a feeling that we might see one or two 'unusual' results over the next couple days.

Here's a quick rundown of today's action....

YTD Senior Record: 42-9 (.824)

Centre Wellington (7-6) @ JF Ross (9-4)
My Pick: JFR
Line: JFR by 12

The Royals are solidly in 3rd place. Centre Wellington (thanks to their upset of St. James last Thursday) is guaranteed 4th. Look for lots of bench action here.

Bishop Mac (2-11) @ Guelph CVI (5-7)
My Pick: GCVI
Line: GCVI by 11

These teams played a close one last time out, but the Gaels can still finish 5th by winning their last 2.....although they do have CCVI in their last one. I'll take them at home on their friendly rims.

Orangeville (0-13) @ Lourdes (6-7)
My Pick: OLOL
Line: Lourdes by 27

Mike Finoro is averaging 21.2 PPG during D10 play. Getting 5 points against the ODSS Bears will ensure he finishes the season with a 20+ PPG average. I'll go out on a limb and say that he gets that here, and that the Crusaders will win.

Centennial (12-0) @ St. James (10-3)
My Pick: CCVI
Line: CCVI by 8

Who knows what will happen here, in what could very well be a finals preview. We'll see what the other clubs have to say about that though. Definite "upset" possibility here as both teams are set in the #1 and #2 positions respectively.

Guelph CVI @ Centennial (Wednesday)
My Pick: CCVI
Line: TBD

Keep in mind these clubs played a 4 point game last time out ---- and with CCVI having locked everything up perhaps there's an opportunity for a GCVI upset here? We'll see....
