Five CWOSSA teams here. Scores are few and far between, so please email me any updates.....but we do have some news to pass along:
Bluevale lost a friendly game to Toronto Martingrove 67-42. The Knights were within 7 at halftime, but after losing another starter to injury (Karsten Beney was already out), the Knights rotated everyone in.
Stefan Cvrkalj had 22 points for Bluevale in the loss.
SJAM ended 0-3 after losing to WCI in a "consolation friendly". In their first round game, they lost to Hamilton St. Thomas More (#8 in Ontario) 54-40.
SJAM lost to Guelph Centennial in the consolation quarterfinals after blowing a big lead.
Still no further results from Centennial's consolation semifinal (and/or final) action.
WCI finished 1-2, with a friendly win over SJAM to end their tournament. Not sure what we can infer from that, given how SJAM has treated previous friendly games (i.e. losing by 20 to Grand River in a friendly at the CCVI tournament).
Also waiting on some consolation side scores for Cambridge Southwood.
We'll fill in the details when we get them.
