The Resurrection Phoenix Senior Boys' basketball team will be participating in the "Scarborough Shootout" at the Hoopdome this coming Saturday (and possibly, Sunday).
This is a 24-team tournament with 8 pools of 3 teams. Resurrection is in "Pool D" with Georges Vanier from Toronto and Dr. GW Williams of Aurora.
Some of the other teams include: Toronto West Hill, Markham HS, Burlington Notre Dame, St. Theresa of Lisieux, St. Marcellinus, Central Commerce, and Dension HS.
The Phoenix are the lone CWOSSA team, though there are entries from as far away as London and Belleville.
