Several teams were able to secure CWOSSA berths yesterday, completing the 6-team AAA & AAAA CWOSSA fields.
Here's a look at those results:
AAA
Starting in the junior ranks, the St. David Celtics pulled out a 26-14 victory over the Holy Trinity (Simcoe) Titans to claim the final "AAA" berth at that level.
St. David will join Cambridge Jacob Hespeler, Kitchener CI, Elmira DSS, Guelph CVI and the host North Park Trojans this weekend in Brantford.
In senior, Brantford Collegiate & Simcoe Holy Trinity claimed the final 2 spots that were up for grabs in that division.
BCI dumped Elmira DSS by a 45-27 final, while Holy Trinity got past Cambridge Monsignor Doyle in a 38-27 contest.
Thus, the senior field features those two schools along with Cambridge schools Jacob Hespeler and Southwood, Guelph St. James and Brantford North Park.
AAAA
The final two "AAAA" berths were also decided on Tuesday.
JF Ross advanced in junior with a win over Waterloo SJAM, while the senior WODSS Crusaders survived a spirited contest from the CWDHS Falcons (6-8 in D10) ---- surviving by a 47-44 final.
The completed junior fields are as follows:
Junior - Waterloo CI, Grand River, JF Ross, St. John's, Centennial & Resurrection
Senior - Waterloo CI, Bluevale, WODSS, St. John's, JF Ross & Resurrection
