D10 Thursday Selections

Well, the D10 kicks back off after the exam break tomorrow (they did break about a week earlier than WCSSAA & D8). A bunch of jockeying for some final playoff positioning so

All games 30 minutes after junior contests (5:15 - 5:30pm)

Lourdes (5-7) at Bishop Mac (2-10)
Pick: Lourdes
Line: Lourdes by 23

Last time out, Lourdes won by 45. Should be another easy win here, but I think the Celts will make it a little more respectable at home.

JF Ross (8-4) at ODSS (0-12)
Pick: JFR
Line: JFR by 27

Another blowout here, but a nice way for JF Ross to get back from the exam break. Looks like they will enter the playoffs as the #3 seed in D10.

St. James (10-2) at Centre Wellington (6-6)
Pick: STJ
Line: STJ by 10

Slight upset possibility here, as the Falcons match up well with the Lions (they've beaten them before this year too). This game means a lot more to CW, who have a ton more to play for at this point in the season ---- St. James has already wrapped up the #2 seed.

Could be interesting but I like the Lions to be ahead at the end.

Junior Pick Special: Lourdes (11-1) at Bishop Mac (12-0)
Pick: BMAC
Line: BM by 13

Last time they met, the teams lit up the scoreboard en route to a 74-65 Bishop Mac win at Lourdes. The Celts did a good job of holding Chris Watson "in check" (16 points). If they can do that again here, they should wrap up the top seed heading into the playoffs.

Given that BMac has played a few games to shake off the exam rust, I'll take them by double digits over the CWOSSA #3 Crusaders in this 3:30pm tilt.
