Vikings, Celtics in action at Rams Classic this Weekend

Both the Waterloo Collegiate Vikings and the Guelph Bishop Macdonell Celtics will be in action this weekend, participating at the (Etobicoke) Rams Classic Tournament.

The Vikes have just tipped off against Ottawa's Louis Riel HS, an honourable mention "Ontario Super 16" team in the post that just precedes this one.

Bishop Mac, meanwhile, will tip off play at 4:00pm against another "Ontario Super 16" honourable mention club, Lockerby HS from Sudbury.  For comparative purposes, WCI defeated Lockerby 45-40 in September at the UWO Purple & White tournament.

A8 - Bishop Macdonell (Guelph) vs. Lockerby (Sudbury)

Most games are taking place at Humber College; with two gyms available, games will play concurrently (i.e. two games at the same time).

Regardless of a first-round win or loss, WCI's second round game will be at 7pm at Humber, while Bishop Mac's second game will be at 8:30pm tonight.
