According to Mark Bryson, the format for this year's CWOSSA "AAAA" tournament (which, I understand, will not be an "official CWOSSA") has been decided.Effective this school year, the format was:
2 teams - WCSSAA
1 team - D10
1 team - D8
1 team - D5
1 team - WCSSAA #3 vs. D10 #2 (Qualifer)
I was told earlier this week that the format would likely remain as above (i.e. the same), however, it looks as though the official number of teams competing in the WCSSAA qualifiers (4 teams senior, 3 teams junior) has led to one change:
The play-in game will now be contested between D8 #2 and D10 #2. This has been changed in the name of fairness with only a handful of WCSSAA teams competing for their two available berths.
