The Brantford St. John's Green Eagles had a successful weekend in St. Catharines, going 2-2 at the All-Ontario Catholic Tournament.
The Green Eagles started their tournament on the short end of a 92-48 decision to the #1-ranked team in Canada, Toronto St. Mike's (who eventually won the tournament title). Tim Dawson netted 22 points for SJC in that game.
That placed St. John's on the consolation side of the draw where they posted wins over Welland Notre Dame (53-46; James Terejko 13) and Ottawa St. Patrick's (65-63; Tim Dawson 19).
The Green Eagles would fall in the consolation final 55-46 to St. Francis (St. Catharines). Dawson again led the way with a 12 point effort.
St. Mike's defeated Holy Trinity (Oakville) 49-46 in the championship game.
