CWOSSA about 5 weeks away

Hard to believe the season is about a month and a bit from being over.

K-W is hosting both AAA & AAAA CWOSSA this year, which should make the February 26th and 27th weekend a very exciting one here locally.

Here's a quick rundown of how the CWOSSA Tournaments work:

A (4 teams)
-One team from each of Districts 1, 8, 9 and a second team from the winning district (if more than one "A" team) or second place district.

....last year in Junior, Rockway (D8) won but with no second team from D8 in "A", that bid will go to D9 (NSSAA).

....in senior, Waterford won so again, another bid for the NSSAA.

Projected (Senior): Rockway, Waterford, D9 #2, Walkerton DSS.
Projected (Junior): Rockway, D9 #1, D9 #2, Walkerton DSS.

AA (4 teams)
-Two teams from D1 & 7
-One team from D4 or D9
-One team from D10

Projected (Sr): Owen Sound, D1&7 #2, Simcoe, Lourdes
Projected (Jr): Owen Sound, D1&7 #2, Simcoe, Bishop Mac

AAA (8 teams)
-Three teams from WCSSAA
-One from D5 (Brantford)
-Winner of Second "AAA" D5 vs. D9
-One from D8
-One from D7
-One from D4 or D10 (play-in game)

Projected (Sr):
WCSSAA: Southwood, KCI, Preston
D5: North Park (projected #1 seed)
D5/D9 Winner: BCI, Paris, or Holy Trinity
D8: St. David
D7: West Hill
D4/D10: St. James

Projected (Jr):

D5: North Park
D5/D9 Winner: Brantford CI vs Holy Trinity
D8: St. David
D7:
D4/D10: Centre Dufferin (projected #1 seed)

AAAA (6 teams)
-One from D8
-Two from WCSSAA
-One from D5
-Two from D10

Pool A: WCSSAA #1, D8 #1, D10 #2
Pool B: D5 #1, WCSSAA #2, D10 #1

Projected Pool A: Bluevale, Rez/St. Mary's, JF Ross
Projected Pool B: St. John's, SJAM, Centennial

......don't take any of these "projections" too seriously ---- a long way to go, but interesting to see how things might possibly shape up!

there is small possibility, but how it will work if CHCI wins over FHCI, next round, than we'll have SJAM,FHCI and Cameron 8-2, SJAM over CHCI, Forest over SJAM and Cameron over Forest
