CWOSSA Junior Top 10: Week 2

Not too much movement in this week's ranking, as the top three teams definitely appear to be ahead of the rest of the pack.

Last week, I had Lourdes and Bishop Mac tied for 2nd in advance of their league game this week, which Lourdes won (50-44).  Bishop Mac was also impressive at the Jacob Hespeler tournament, running through the field and defeating Resurrection in the tournament final.

The Phoenix, meanwhile, will stick at 4th following a slim victory over WODSS at that tourney, although they were without 2 starters in that one.

North Park makes the biggest jump of the week, having established themselves well in D5 play.  They played Brantford CI very well before falling to the CWOSSA #1-ranked team in league.

St. James of Guelph is a new entrant this week, thanks to a 4-1 start and a win yesterday over previously ranked Guelph Centennial (33-17).

This week's rankings:

1.  Brantford CI / Brantford (1)

2.  Our Lady of Lourdes / Guelph (T2)

3.  Bishop Macdonell / Guelph (T2)

4.  Resurrection CSS / Kitchener (4)

5.  Waterloo-Oxford DSS / Baden (6)

6.  Kitchener CI / Kitchener (5)

7.  North Park CVS / Brantford (T10)

8.  Sir John A. MacDonald / Waterloo (8)

9.  St. John's College / Brantford (9)

10.  St. James HS / Guelph (NR)

Dropped Out:  #7 Centennial, #10 (Tie) Elmira.
