The Senior Bishop Macdonell Celtics were able to sneak past the Centennial Spartans, 40-38, yesterday afternoon in South Guelph.
Johanna De Jong (15) and Dianne Priamo (10) were the leaders for BMAC, while Centennial received strong performances from Carter Godman (16) and Lauren Zonneveld (9).
Both those teams are still looking up in the standings at JF Ross, who remains perfect following a 63-44 win over Lourdes. Mya Leacock poured in 21 and Maddy Darling added 16 for the Royals, who withstood Rainey Psenicka's 24-point effort for Lourdes.
The other senior tilt on Tuesday saw CWDHS pick up their first win, 36-31 over Orangeville. Grace Rooney had 20 for the Falcons, while Acacia Smith netted 16 for the Bears.

Junior
Over in the junior ranks, highly ranked CWOSSA teams Bishop Mac and Lourdes continued to pile up league victories in advance of their anticipated showdown on Thursday.
BMAC was a big 53-18 winner over Centennial, with Grace Drewry's 18 points leading the way. Sabrina Smith had 10 for CCVI.
Lourdes, meanwhile, scored a 37-4 win over JF Ross. Jada Codrington netted 21 in the win for the Crusaders there.
Orangeville was a 30-17 winner over CWDHS, with Lindsay Grant scoring 10 in the win. Abby Taylor netted 9 for CW.
St. James moved to 4-1 following a 43-18 win at GCVI. Sophia Lago (14) and Lauralee Mackeigan (13) were the top Lions; Mandeep Jawanda had 8 for the Gaels.
