Some hot shooting in the fourth quarter -- much of it from Nina Farkic (23 points) and Joanna Zubic (14 points) -- helped the Cameron Heights Gaels extend a 1-point lead after three quarters to a 45-33 final score over the visiting WCI Vikings.
With the win, Cameron Heights moved to 3-0, while WCI is now 1-1. Danielle Sauve (10) and Victoria Giguere (8) were the top Viking scorers.

The Knights moved back above the .500 mark with a road win at WODSS. Kaela Knowles had 13 for BCI with Kiera Grein adding 6. Emily Glendinning had another solid effort for WO in defeat, pouring in 16 points.
Jacob Hespeler 52, Eastwood 20
No trouble for the Hawks at home as they handled the Rebels, with Maddy Adams leading JHSS with 13. Danielle Gardiner netted 7 from ECI.
Grand River 43, Glenview Park 23
Nancy Michael (15) and Nyamuoch Teny (12) combined for 27 points in the Rens' victory. Katie Krulicki was in double-digits for the Panthers with 10.
Huron Hts. 29, KCI 27
Nice win for the Huskies who slipped past the Raiders at home. Cassey Leader (8) was the leader for Huron in this one, while Alia Hazineh had 16 for KCI.
Preston 26, Forest Hts. 15
Preston picked up their second straight win, with Alayna Johnson hitting for 6 points. Sona Khalifeh had 5 for FHCI.
SJAM 42, Galt 18
The 'Landers remained undefeated with good efforts from Griffin Lack-Shane (17) and Milica Koprivica (11). Emma Buck had 8 for Galt.
