A long way to go, of course, but it's interesting to start to take a look at what might materialize at this year's CWOSSA "AAA" tournament.For the first time, the tournament will be an 8-team, "set" bracket, and be a modified single elimination tournament (each team guaranteed 2 games, but not necessarily 2 losses for elimination).
Teams will be placed into the bracket as follows, and then first-round winners will play first-round losers in the quarterfinal round, with those winners advancing to the semifinals.
Here's how it will stack up (in terms of entries), and then below, I've slotted some teams in based upon current league positioning -- of course, each team is essentially one playoff upset away from not being in the tournament at all:
