CWOSSA is winless (to this point) at the Heinbuch Classic roundball tournament in Kitchener.
In the tournament's first game, Centennial CVI of Guelph fell to Toronto Oakwood by an 84-59 final. Julian Clarke paced Oakwood with 16, while Robert House had 14 for the Spartans in a losing effort.
The second game on Thursday afternoon saw St. David drop a 51-39 decision to Toronto Emery. Anthony Ottley pumped in 23 points for the winners, while Daniel Hummel scored 19 for St. David.
Centennial will now play the loser of Mother Teresa and KCI (likely KCI) tomorrow at 3pm (St. Mary's) --- a quick turnaround after MT and KCI do battle at 12 noon.
St. David, meanwhile, gets the loser of Bluevale and London HB Beal tomorrow at Huron Heights. Tip time for that one is also 3pm.
