2 games with start times a 3 hour span?
Turned out to be no issue for the Bishop Mac Celtics, my current #1 junior CWOSSA team.
They breezed past Centre Wellington in league play by a 63-36 final. Their balanced attack was led by Jesse Kendall (15) and Mitchell Wood (12).
They then hit the road to battle Our Lady of Mount Carmel Crusaders (Mississauga/2-2 in ROPSSAA) in the Rimrocker tournament. The Celtics doubled up the Crusaders 72-36. Michael Clouthier added to his 20+ resume with a 22 point performance, while Connor Wood added 18.
Both Bishop Mac and Waterloo SJAM continue pool play at the Rimrocker tomorrow.
