Wednesday's D8 Contests

Here is today's schedule in the D8 league:

Senior:

Resurrection (1-2) at St. Benedict (1-2)
Pick:  RCSS

Although the teams have identicaly records, Rez's losses have been to St. Mary's & St. David, currently the top two teams in the D8 league.  I look for them to post a comfortable victory here on the road, provided they don't overlook the Saints.

St. Mary's (3-0) at Rockway (0-3)
Pick:  SMHS

This could get ugly, but I figure Coach Roth at St. Mary's will use his roster quite liberally in this one en route to another Eagle victory.

Senior D8 Picks Record:  8-0 (1.000)

Junior

Resurrection (3-0) at St. Benedict (3-0)
Special shout-out to this one, as it features the two teams that appear to be the early favourites to capture the D8 junior crown.  St. Benedict has looked slightly more impressive, and I would take them to win this afternoon (especially in the comfortable environs of their home gym).

St. Mary's (1-2) at Rockway (0-3)
Look for the Eagles to even-up their record and continue their push to maintain one of the 4 D8 playoff spots.
