D10: Tuesday Results

Senior

JF Ross 57, Bishop Mac 38
My Pick:  JFR
Owen Moynihan netted 10 and Evan Karl 9 to lead a balanced Royal attack past Bishop Mac at home on Tuesday.  Three Celtics, all grade eleven rookies, were in double figures --- Ben Morris (11), Owen Brombal (10) and Jesse Kendall (10).

Lourdes 71, Orangeville 44
My Pick: OLOL
The Crusaders pulled away from the Bears in the second half of this one, thanks in part to a game-high 33 points from guard Mike Finoro.  Justin Levesque had 21 for ODSS in the loss.

Centre Wellington 53, Centennial 48
My Pick:  CCVI
Went with the "mild upset" and was wrong as the Falcons stay perfect (5-0).  Reid Goindi netted 19, Tim Francis 12 and Gavin McNamara 12 in the win; Erik Sterne had a game-high 20 for the Spartans with Tarang Sharma adding 13.

St. James 58, Guelph CVI 50
My Pick:  STJ
The Lions pick up their first league win on the road with a victory at GCVI.  Liam McCormack had 16 and Ron Kinga 9 for the Lions; Tyler Beaton put home 16 and Cam O'Farrell 10 for the Gaels.

Lourdes 70, Orangeville 22
The Crusaders picked up their first win in emphatic fashion by handling the Bears with ease.  David Khayipangi led the way with 14 in the win; Tye Tucker led the Bears and all scorers with 15.

Centre Wellington 48, Centennial 36
James Scott (11) and Sam Goindi (9) paced the Falcons as they jumped back in the win column on Tuesday.  Zaigham Ali had 10 and Leighton Milne 9 for the Spartans.

St. James 51, Guelph CVI 31
Scoring details were unavailable.

JF Ross 78, Bishop Mac 62
A high-scoring affair goes to the Royals at home on Tuesday.  Vlad Vamanu netted 20 and Andrew Folkerson 10 in the win; Vaughan transfer Michael Ganson continued his torrid scoring efforts with a 37-point performance in this one and Adam MacEachern added 11.
