A couple more qualifiers as a result of yesterday's D10 and D8 action.
For starters, in D10, the Centre Wellington Falcons (D10 #1) and JF Ross Royals (D10 #2) are now officially in.
As a result of how things shook down in D8 yesterday, the St. Mary's Eagles are also in at the junior level.
The interesting thing, I think, is that with Ross' surprise ousting that there is a big-time "pool of death" potential at this year's CWOSSA tournament. If FHCI takes the WCSSAA title, and St. Mary's wins over in D8, we could theoretically have my top 3 ranked CWOSSA teams all participating in the same pool at CWOSSA!
Another interesting thing is that either Centre Wellington or St. John's, two teams that were ranked during the year but were not in the last ranking, will both play in "Pool B" --- as such, one of those two squads is guaranteed a spot in the semifinals and will be one win away from OFSAA!
