AAAA Senior Game #4: SJAM 58, St. John's 41

In the fourth senior game to take place at JF Ross on Saturday, the SJAM Highlanders clinched first place (2-0 record) in Pool B with a 58-41 win over the Brantford St. John's Green Eagles.

The 'Landers were never seriously threatened in this one, as they put up a 27-point first quarter to lead 27-11 after the opening frame.  They led 36-18 at half, and 46-30 after three.

In the fourth, SJAM scored the first 10 points of the quarter (56-30) before subbing out their starters and allowing SJC to make things a bit more respectable late.  The score didn't matter that much, of course, as the second semifinal qualifier from Pool B would be the winner of the late SJC-CWDHS game.

Ben Reyhani led SJAM (and all scorers) with 23, while Theshawn Barry (11) and Quinn Turner (11 points, 9 rebounds) were also in double figures.  SJAM's scoring was rounded out by San Woods (5), Nathaniel Ellis (4), Connor Bradley (2) and Jared Pallin (2).

St. John's received 20 points from Tyler Van Leeuwen, and 6 from James Terejko.  Other Eagle scorers were JP Yurcich (4), Adam Peters (3), Tim Dawson (2), Matt Bijman (2), Cam Post (2) and Dylan Smith (2).
